A MetaTrader login message normally points to one of three areas: the account details, the assigned server or the network connection. Use the original RockGlobal account email when checking the server.
Invalid account or authorisation failed
- Confirm that the login is the MT4 account number, not an email address.
- Retype the trading password and remove accidental spaces.
- Check capitalisation.
- Make sure you are not using the RockGlobal client-portal password.
- Use the trading password rather than the investor password if you need to trade.
No connection
- Check that the internet connection is working.
- Select the exact server shown in the original RockGlobal account-opening email.
- Restart MT4 and test a permitted alternative network.
- Check whether a firewall, VPN or proxy is blocking the connection.
Account appears, but trading is unavailable
You may be signed in with the read-only investor password, the market may be closed, or the account or symbol may currently be restricted. Check the Journal for the exact message.
If you cannot find the server email
Contact RockGlobal Support to confirm the server assigned to your account. Do not guess a server name and do not use details from another live or demo account.
What to send Support
Provide the account number, device, operating system, MT4 version, selected server, exact error text, time of the attempt and a screenshot or Journal entry. Never send your password.
