You can request a leverage change from the RockGlobal client portal when the option is available for your account. Available leverage can depend on the account type, instrument, balance, open positions, entity and applicable requirements.
Before requesting a change
- Check whether the account has open positions or pending orders.
- Review how the proposed leverage changes required margin and available free margin.
- Confirm that you selected the correct MT4 account.
- Do not use a leverage change as a substitute for managing trade size and account risk.
Submit the request
- Sign in to the RockGlobal client portal.
- Go to Assets → Account Management.
- Locate the relevant live trading account.
- Open Operations or the account actions menu.
- Select Change leverage.
- Confirm the MT4 account number and current leverage.
- Select an available new leverage level and complete any requested verification.
- Submit the request and wait for confirmation before relying on the new setting.
Portal wording may vary slightly as the service is updated.
If the option is unavailable
The account may not currently be eligible for a change, or a review may be required. Contact RockGlobal Support with the account number and requested leverage. Do not send your password.
After approval
Confirm the new leverage in the portal or MT4 account information. Recheck margin requirements before placing another trade, because leverage changes the amount of margin required and can increase the speed at which losses affect available funds.
